Connection of Podcasts
Podcasts have become more than background noise for me. They’re my comfort space, my mirror, and my reminder that I’m not alone. Whether I’m walking to class, organizing my closet, driving, or winding down at night, the right podcast makes me feel seen, heard, and connected. Beautiful Twin Sisters by Ashley Alexander and Amber Alexander and Pretty Basic by Remi Cruz and Alisha Marie are two podcasts that have really stuck with me. The way they share their lives so openly makes me feel like I’m catching up with friends, even when I’m just listening quietly with my AirPods in.
Ashley and Amber feel like twins even if they were born in different years, but it’s because of how deeply they understand each other and the people listening. They speak about healing, creativity, and life lessons with so much warmth and realness. It reminds me how powerful sisterhood and storytelling can be. Every episode feels like an invitation to slow down, reflect, and connect not just with them, but with myself. That connection is rare and beautiful.
Then there’s Pretty Basic with Remi and Alisha, which brings the fun, chaotic, relatable energy I love. They’re not afraid to talk about confidence, friendships, dating, or navigating their careers and even though they’re big content creators, they keep it so down-to-earth. Listening to them feels like a breath of fresh air in a space that can sometimes feel too curated or perfect. It makes me realize that authenticity creates the strongest kind of connection.
What I love most about podcasts like these is that they’re built on honest conversations. They inspire me to share more, to be vulnerable, and to keep showing up even when things don’t feel polished. It’s not just about having answers, it’s about starting conversations that matter. Podcasts remind me that being seen and heard doesn’t always have to be loud, it can be soft, thoughtful, and still powerful.
In my own journey, whether it’s in fashion, branding, or just trying to live creatively, connection is everything. Podcasts have shown me that the most impactful voices are the ones that make people feel something. And that’s exactly what I want to do with my own voice: create space, spark connection, and make people feel just a little less alone.
